1.

We buy handwoven "pulseras" from around 200 artisans in Central America, employing them with well-paying Fair Trade jobs, and providing a market for their products in the U.S.

2.

As part of our free service-learning program, student groups & volunteers in the U.S. sell those pulseras in their schools for $5, raising funds for the artisans & their communities while sharing the beauty of Latin American culture with their classmates.

3.

Schools send back any unsold pulseras at the end of the sale with  a pre-paid return label that we provide. There is no requirement to sell any certain number of pulseras.

Proceeds from pulsera sales fund a range of social impact projects such as scholarships, community development, housing, healthcare, fair trade employment, and other programs that empower the artisans, their families, and their communities.

Ready to bring a pulsera sale to life in your school? Please take some time to read our "Get Involved" page, and then the "Pulsera Sale Guide," which explains in-depth every aspect of being involved with the Pulsera Project. At the end of the guide there is a short form you can fill out with the details of your pulsera sale.

Our 4-minute-long "What is The Pulsera Project" video is a great introduction to what we do and who we support.

Watch this short video for a full explanation of how to sign up and bring a pulsera sale to life in your school.
